Galvanized Steel Purlins are longitudinal profiles of galvanized steel sheet between 1.5 mm and 2.5 mm thick, folded and embossed by the most modern machinery at our facilities in Huerta, Salamanca.

There are two types of Galvanized Steel Purlins for roofs and façades.

Z-shaped Galvanized Steel Purlins are designed as a secondary structure for light roofs, and especially as a support structure for Sandwich Panels, Special Panels, Profiles Plate and Sheets.

C-shaped Galvanized Steel Purlins are designed as a secondary structure for light façades, and especially as a support structure for Sandwich Panels, Special Panels, Profiles Plate and Sheets.

Galvanized Steel Purlins are especially used in industrial and agricultural sheds where they are fitted directly to the main structure as a support for fastenings in Sandwich Panels, Special Panels, Profiles Plate and Sheets. Another frequent use is as a support for finishes on façades and roofs, when they are screwed directly on to walls or roof slabs. The most frequent uses of Galvanized Steel Purlins in building are:

• As a secondary structure of roofs and façades
• To support cladding on façades
• To support waterproofing material on metal roofs

For greater ease of assembly, as well as Galvanized Steel Purlins, Panelais Producciones has fixing or joint plates between purlins, in addition to all fasteners required, such as screws, etc.
